To convert a file we receive it, process it and give you a download link. We also keep a technical log of each conversion (tool used, file size, time), a random anonymous ID stored in your browser, and your IP address, which is used only to limit abuse (rate limiting).
Uploaded and converted files are deleted automatically within about one hour. Files waiting for a conversion that is not available yet may be kept for up to 24 hours, then deleted.
Hosting is provided by Netlify and file storage and the database by Supabase (EU region). They process data only to run the service.
If you start the Pro trial, PayPal processes the payment and we receive your e-mail address and the PayPal subscription ID, which we use to run your subscription and to send the trial reminder 2 days before the first charge. We never see your card details. You can cancel with one click at any time.
We do not use advertising cookies. The site stores your language, currency and a random anonymous ID in your browser's local storage.
You can ask us what data we hold about you and request its deletion. Because we do not require accounts, we may ask you to provide the anonymous ID shown in your browser's local storage (cs_anon_id).
